Application Process

The American Center of Oriental Research (ACOR) offers two or more fellowships for M.A. and pre-doctoral students conducting research in Jordan. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen and an enrolled graduate student at the time of application.

The fellowships will be offered for terms of two to six months. The maximum award for six months is $23,800 (which includes room and board at ACOR, transportation by a U.S. carrier, stipend, and research funds). Two to five month awards will be proportionate. For residence over the stipulated term, regular room and board rates will be charged. Fellowships must be used between June 15, 2019 and December 31, 2020.

This is a residential fellowship and residency at ACOR is required.
