Kathmandu Cultural Emergency Crowdmap

On April 25, 2015, a severe earthquake in Nepal resulted in the loss of more than 3,000 lives. It also caused destruction and serious damage to the historic center of Kathmandu and other heritage sites throughout the Kathmandu Valley. ICOMOS-ICORP and ICCROM have started the Kathmandu Cultural Emergency Crowdmap to collect information on the damage caused to cultural heritage sites and institutions in Nepal. If you wish to participate in this effort, please click here: https://kathmanduculturalemergency.crowdmap.com/main. There is additional information about the Crowdmap at this link: http://icorp.icomos.org/index.php/news/60-nepal-earthquake. Also, please feel free to share these links with others who may have knowledge about cultural sites in Nepal. Thank you for your participation.
