Launch of New Website for Cultural Property Protection Groups

by Laura Childs

The new website of CHAMP is now active & CHAMP’s sister organization, MilCHAG, is now sharing the website aiamilitarypanel.org.

The new website of the Cultural Heritage by Archaeology and the Military Panel (CHAMP) is now active! CHAMP’s sister organization, Military Cultural Heritage Advisory Group (MilCHAG), is now sharing the website. Both organizations are dedicated to protecting endangered cultural property in conflict zones. CHAMP civilian academic and professional members provide knowledge to the military about sites, artifacts, laws, and cultural issues.  MilCHAG focuses on directly helping military personnel plan, train, and operate around cultural property. From the joint CHAMP/MilCHAG home page, click on the MilCHAG tab to see the type of information that military personnel require. The public is encouraged to send website content information and comments about website design to webmasters Ms. Laura Childs
