Lousiana Archaeology Month Events to be part of National Archaeology Day

The Louisiana Division of Archaeology joined as a Collaborating Organization and will list all of the Louisiana Archaeology Month events on the National Archaeology Day Calendar.  Last October, over 40 events including lectures, special guided tours, exhibits, living history demonstrations, active archaeological site visits, films, and displays of books on Louisiana history or prehistory, were held throughout the state of Louisiana in association with Louisiana Archaeology Month.
