Khanuy Valley

Khanuy Valley, Aarkhangai, Mongolia

Category: Archaeological Landscapes

Amid the ruins of a Soviet building looking out into the goat and yak pins of a camp in Khanuy Valley. After the Soviets were pushed out many returned back to their traditional pastoral lifeways that they have followed for millennia.
