The Sanchi Stupa 3 with a nagini sculpture in the foreground. The monument was built by the Shunga Dynasty king Pushyamitra Shunga (reigned c. 185-149 BC). The South Torana was added during the Satavahana Dynasty in the first century BC or first century AD (view from the south-east).
