Public Lecture at the 2020 Annual Meeting


AIA Public Lecture and Joint AIA & SCS Opening Night Reception

Dr. Kathleen Lynch, Professor of Classics at the University of Cincinnati, will present this year’s Public Lecture, “Conversations with a Pot Whisperer: Archaeological Ceramics and the Stories they Tell.” The Public Lecture is free and open to the public. Professor Lynch’s lecture will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, in Independence Salons D & E on Level M4 at the Marriott Marquis Washington, DC. The AIA Public Lecture will immediately be followed by the Opening Night Reception. While there is no cost to attend the Public Lecture, tickets are required for admission to the Opening Night Reception. Tickets are $35 or $27 for students with ID and include light hors d’oeuvres and one complimentary beverage. Tickets for the Opening Night Reception may be purchased at Registration or at the door.
