Last week, guests of the AIA enjoyed a special “Curator’s Tour” at the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, one of the Smithsonian’s Museums of Asian art in Washington, D.C.

The tour of the new exhibition, “Roads of Arabia: Archaeology and History of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” was conducted by AIA member Alexander Nagel, curator of ancient near eastern art at the Sackler, and was followed by a reception at the Metropolitan Club, hosted by AIA Trustee Deborah Lehr.
