“Hi ___, my name is ____ and I am a constituent from ____. I am calling to request that you vote NO on the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act. This bill destroys America’s historic places and archaeological sites, guts public involvement, and strips stakeholders like Native tribes and taxpayers of their right to weigh in on federally backed projects. Congress cannot support permitting reform that puts all the power in the federal government AND excludes American people and communities.”

“The permitting reform bill will take away our rights to weigh in before the federal government builds projects that destroy our historic places. Is Senator/Congressman X supporting this bill? Please vote NO.”

– OR –

“The Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act would completely cut out the public from having input on federal projects that would destroy historic places we love. We will not find out about data centers until the bulldozers arrive. Is Senator/Congressman X supporting this bill? Please vote NO.”
