Site Preservation Grant Making a Difference in the Yucatan

In the video below, hear about the important work being done through an AIA Site Preservation Grant at Tahcabo in the Yucatán.  The Proyecto Arqueologíco Colaborativo del Oriente de Yucatán, which is currently mapping and surveying the colonial site of Tahcabo, is deeply committed to sustaining a dialog with the local community about local heritage and conservation.  Listen as project directors Patricia McAnany and Sarah Rowe discuss the history of the site and how an AIA Site Preservation Grant will enable the project to involve the local community in the site’s past, present, and future.
