The John D. Cooper Archaeological and Paleontological Center, a partnership between Orange County, California, and California State University Fullerton, celebrated International Archaeology Day on October 12, 2013, with a free educational family event, Prehistoric OC. The Prehistoric OC festival presented Orange County’s rich heritage of natural history, prehistoric animals and plants, and Native American culture to the community. Over 800 people attended the event and enjoyed a variety of presentations and activities.
