Egypt and Nubia: Celebrate Archaeology

AIA Society: Charlottesville

The event utilizes the temporary exhibition The World Between: Egypt and Nubia in Africa (through 14 June, 2026) at the Fralin Museum of Art as a springboard to publicly celebrate Archaeology and share Egypt and Nubia with the public in a free, family-oriented event.

Activities will include:
-Gallery Q&A with the curator inside the museum in the Pine Gallery
-Scavenger hunt for artifacts on display
-A lego station in Fayeweather Hall next door, on the backside of the building (please follow signs; 12-3 pm)
-Art activity/collage also in Fayeweather Hall (please follow signs; 12-3 pm)
