AIA Lecturer: Carla Antonaccio

Affiliation: Duke University

Carla Antonaccio received her Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from Princeton University and works as a Professor of Archaeology and Classical Studies at Duke University. She specializes in Mediterranean archaeology, especially late Bronze and Iron Ages, ceramic studies and the archaeology of identity. She is the Char of the Department of Classical Studies, Co-Director of the Morgantina Excavations in Central Sicily, President of the North Carolina Society of the AIA and Secretary of the Managing Committee of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.
