AIA Lecturer: Eugene Borza

Dr. Eugene Borza was a professor in the History Department at Pennsylvania State University for over thirty years before his retirement in 1995. He is an authority in the history and archaeology of ancient Macedonia and the Classical Revival in Greece. Dr. Borza is very active in the AIA—he has served as President and current Secretary of the Central Pennsylvania Society and is also a member of several AIA committees at the national level. During his tenure at Penn State he also found time to be a visiting professor at the University of Washington, Carleton College, and Trinity University. He did his undergraduate work at Baldwin-Wallace College and completed both his MA and PhD at the University of Chicago.
