The drop in was open to the general public who chose items from their personal collections to bring in for identification. 16 people came in the 3 hours with more than 50 artifacts for demystification. The drop-in was co-sponsored by the Beaufort Chapter, ASSC., with help from State Archaeologist Dr. Jon Leader and Dr. Eric Poplin of Brockington and Associates in South Carolina.
