The Bollinger County Museum of Natural History hosted an event for International Archaeology Day on October 21, 2017. Mike Comer, Natural Resource Manager for Towosahgy State Historic Site presented a lecture on Mississippian Mound Building Indians during the day. Touch items were available along with children’s archaeology activities, a mock dig, and hands-on archaeology crafts, puzzles, and games.
