Elkhart County Historical Museum to Celebrate with Reenactment

Collaborating Organization Elkhart County Historical Museum will hold their annual reenactment Gathering at Five Medals, a juried living history event, on the weekend of National Archaeology Day.  The event in Elkhart County, Indiana, portrays the region  from the years 1650 to 1815.  Many of the reenactors have used archaeological research to create their personas and experimental archaeology such as flintknapping will also be a part of this fun event.  Organizers currently expect approximately 3,000 attendees including 700 school children.
