Topic: New World

An anonymous gift to the AIA in 1992 established an endowment to support lectures on New World archaeology. After her death in 1997, the New World Archaeology Lecture Fund of the AIA was renamed for Doris Z. Stone, the original donor. Mrs. Stone, a lifetime member of the AIA, was active in the New Orleans Society.
