Please join us for an in-person screening and informal discussion of the latest Archaeology Hour talk.

Join Boston’s City Archaeologist, Joe Bagley, to hear the latest insights and discoveries from a multi-year survey of the first major battle of the American Revolution. This presentation will include descriptions of the loss of Charlestown to the fires set during the battle, stories of the residents who lost everything, and the stuff they left behind. He will also share the latest results on their team’s 2026 excavations and ground penetrating radar surveys at key locations in the battle, featuring new information on the rebel redoubt design, landscape of the battle, burials of casualties, and the post-battle use of the forts by the occupying British forces.

This event is free and open to the public.
