International Archaeology Day 2023

Colorado IAD 2023 is completely free to the public and for exhibitors to participate. The event will be outdoors and will run from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm MST on Saturday, October 21st. IAD 2023 will be held in the Lower South Lot #2 of Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, Morrison, Colorado. Professional lectures in the fields of archaeology and history will be available to guests in a covered tent with seating throughout the day. Thirty+ tables/displays/activities from organizations all over Colorado will be available for guests to explore. In addition to the exhibitors, there will be two food trucks onsite and a small, enclosed beer garden for guests 21+. Tours and activities will be free of charge at auxiliary sites including Lamb Springs Archaeological Preserve, the Civilian Conservation Corp Camp at Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, the Buffalo Bill Museum, and Roxborough State Park with more opportunities to come!
