Making & Painting Corinthian Ceramics

October 16, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm EEST

Archaeological Museum of Ancient Corinth
Ancient Corinth, 20007 Greece

For the fourth consecutive year, ASCSA Corinth Excavations is organizing in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of the Corinthia an educational and family program in celebration of International Archaeology Day. We welcome you to the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth on October 16th at 11:00 AM to learn about vase painting and vase making in ancient times and today, to see Corinthian pottery up close, and to draw inspiration for your own creations! We will be joined by archaeologists, conservators, a vase maker, and local vase painters. Guests will have the opportunity to model their own vases, to decorate miniature vessels, and to “conserve” broken ceramic replicas.

When placing events on your calendar using these buttons, please check that time zone displays correctly.
