The standing monoliths of Stonehenge were already ancient when they were discovered by the Romans almost 2000 years ago. What was Stonehenge? When and why was it built? This planetarium program explores possible astronomical aspects of Stonehenge and its surrounding landscape, as well as briefly looking at suspected archaeoastronomy sites in Louisiana. Best for ages 8 to adult. Included with regular Museum entry. “Interact for Definiti,” a production of the Lawrence Hall of Science – Distributed by Sky-Skan, Inc.
