Feline Lessons at the University of Colorado’s Museum of Natural History

The museum paired up with the Egypt Study Society, and city of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks

The University of Colorado Museum of Natural History held a Family Day to celebrate National Archaeology Day. The theme of the day was “Prowling through time with cats big and small.” The Egypt Study Society and city of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks also joined in to explore the role of cats in cultures around the world and through time. Visitors climbed up the cat family tree, and looked into the future as they pondered what archaeologists will think about our plethora of cat videos.
