The National Arts Club has celebrated International Archaeology Day for quite a few years, holding lectures that they have publicly posted on YouTube to share with asynchronous viewers! On October 14, 2020, Mrs. Vanessa Frazier, Permanent Representative from Malta to the UN, gave a talk alongside curators from Heritage Malta about her nation’s long history.
This year, in June, His Excellency Ambassador Evangelos C. Sekeris, Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations gave a talk on amphictyony for the Club, which is also available online.
Stay tuned for this year’s IAD event by the NAC. The speaker will be The Honorable Michalis S. Firillas, Consul General from Cyprus, and he will be speaking at the NAC at 15 Gramercy Park South, New York City, at 6:30 on October 2.
