More than 300 people attended the International Archaeology Day and California Archaeology Month Expo held in Riverside, California, on October 15, 2016.  The archaeology fair, enticingly labeled as The Investigators Archaeology Expo included 28 exhibitors from academic, government, and private organizations.

Attendees at this archaeology fair learned about mapping using a total station, making stone tools, analyzing artifacts, and much more.

The Expo was held at the Hidden Valley Nature Cente and was sponsored by the AIA-Riverside Society and the Riverside County Parks Department with support from the Society for California Archaeology.
