The Metropolitan Nashville Historical Commission and Fort Negley Visitors Center partnered for the second year in a row to celebrate International Archaeology Day in conjunction with their on-going commemoration of the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War. Ben Nance, with the Tennessee Division of Archaeology, discussed the Division’s work with Civil War sites throughout Tennessee, with a concentration on those sites in Davidson and Williamson Counties while the listeners enjoyed lunch.
