AIA Lecturer: Karen Britt

Affiliation: University of Louisville

Karen Britt is with the Art History Program at the University of Louisville, and received her degrees from Indiana University (Ph.D.), the University of Minnesota (M.A.), and the University of Cincinnati (B.A.).  Her field is the Byzantine Near East, particularly Palestine and Israel, and her most recent publication (in press)is on “The Role of Architectural Decoration in the Creation of Sacred Space”.
