The Louisiana Division of Archaeology joined as a Collaborating Organization and will list all of the Louisiana Archaeology Month events on the National Archaeology Day Calendar. Last October over 40 events held across Louisiana, including lectures, special guided tours, exhibits, living history demonstrations, active archaeological site visits, film viewings, and public displays of books on Louisiana history or prehistory, were associated with Louisiana Archaeology Month.
