The Mead Art Museum of Amherst College will promote National Archaeology Day 2012 through four events in the month of October. The events will highlight objects from antiquity that were excavated in the 19th century and underscore the importance of archaeological context. These events include two events for college students, one for adult community members, and one for area families.
