Student Membership Drive Launches Today!

Rachel Dewan, the former Chair of our Student Affairs Interest Group, describes what the AIA means to her and how she’s benefited from a student membership.

Today marks the start of our Student Membership Drive!

Students from around the world are returning to school this fall and we want to support their archaeological curiosity by providing them with complimentary AIA memberships. To do this, we need the help of our AIA members!

Current AIA members can help in two ways:

  1. Donate to support AIA student memberships.
  2. Nominate a student for a one-year complimentary AIA membership.

Important Items to Remember:

  • Only students without a current AIA membership are eligible for nomination.
  • Your financial support will determine how many complimentary student memberships we can distribute.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been especially hard on students of all ages. Through this effort, we hope that students will have the opportunity to explore their archaeological interests without worrying about the financial cost to do so. Good things can happen when we rally together, so let’s do this – members helping members!
