On International Archaeology Day 100 people in Malaysia participated in the program “Tracking the Ancient Kedah Kingdom,” organized by the Kedah Sungai Batu Archeo-Adventure Society. Sungai Batu archaeological site is a 2,000 year old site in the state of Kedah. IAD participants visiting the site were able to experience the process of archaeological excavation and were given a talk by the expert researchers Prof. Dr. Mokhtar Saidin and Dr. Nasha Rodziadi Khaw.
