Archaeology Month Event at Phillips Recreation Center at Phillips Park. The grounds were once the site of Southern Amusement Park and also has evidence of Native American habitation. There will be archaeology exhibits, demonstrations, lectures, and interactive displays. This event is free and open to the public. No tickets or pre-registration is required.
The Packard Proving Grounds, a national Registered Historic Site, will offer a lecture on the findings of this year's dig season. Learn where we worked, what was found, future plans, and see some of the artifacts, visit the site, and learn their history. PPG members: free; non-members: $5

As part of the annual Packard Proving Grounds, a nationally registered Historic Site, the PPG archaeology team will showcase their excavation sties and the artifacts found.
