Discover archaeology at the Buttonwoods Museum! Drop in with your family between 10am and 2pm. Try your hand at traditional archaeological skills like cross mending and cleaning archaeological artifacts. A mock dig and spooky craft will prepare you for an exploration of above ground archaeology at the nearby Pentucket Burial Ground. With a scavenger hunt as your guide, explore how tombstones give vital clues about life and death long ago. Self-guided tours of the Luce Archaeology Collection will also be available. A Drop-In Event. $5 per family.
