Abstract: Egypt's Pyramid Fields from Space

Lecturer: Sarah Parcak

This lecture will discuss the results from recent satellite remote sensing and survey work as part of the “Pyramid Fields Hinterland survey project”.  The work will show how high resolution satellite imagery can give us a new picture of tombs, settlements, and landscape during Egypt’s Old through Middle kingdoms.
