AIA Award for Best Practices in Site Preservation
AIA's awards for Best Practices in Site Preservation are presented to groups or projects recognized by their peers for doing exemplary work. Nominations for this award must be submitted to AIA's Site Preservation Program. Nomination deadline May 1.
Sustainable Preservation Initiative
The AIA, along with the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA is supporting an innovative new program called the Sustainable Preservation Initiative, which utilizes local economic development to preserve our sites and global heritage. A number of museum studies students at SFSU designed interpretive signs and brochures for the AIA Site Preservation project at Thimlich Ohinga, Kenya.
