Join the Central Indiana Society and The Children's Museum of Indianapolis on October 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for fun and educational archaeological activities. This event highlights the museum's archaeological exhibit, National Geographic Treasures of the Earth. Guest archaeologists from Indiana University, Purdue University and IUPUI will facilitate hands-on archaeology activities for children and families. Special guest, IU Professor Charles Beeker, will give presentations for the public about his research and the discovery of Captain Kidd’s ship, wrecked off the coast of the Dominican Republic. Museum hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m and this event is free with museum admission.
