CALL FOR PAPERS
The second annual South-Central Conference on Mesoamerica is a multi-disciplinary event that aims to present current research in Archaeology, Art History and Socio-Cultural Anthropology within the geographic region of Mesoamerica. This conference is a venue for scholars, students, and the interested public from across the region to share ideas, information, and interpretations. The conference is free and open to the public, and we hope you will join us.
Dr. David Freidel will present a keynote lecture on Friday, November 4 at the San Antonio Museum of Art, followed by a reception and an opportunity to tour of the Pre-Columbian Collection in the Latin American wing of the museum.
The conference will be held in the Fiesta Room on the campus of Trinity University in San Antonio from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm on Saturday (followed by a reception) and from 9:00 am -12:30 on Sunday.

Note that you should receive an auto-confirmation email when you submit. The organizers will announce all decisions about papers by Friday, September 23rd. We will offer five $150.00 travel scholarships for students participating in the conference and traveling from outside of San Antonio.
