Become a Dirt Detective with the San Diego History Center

The San Diego History Center is hosting a Dirt Dectives program at the Serra Museum on National Archaeology Day. Visitors will be able to dig in their own mock excavation to experience first-hand the methods, tools and practices of archaeologists. Children and adults are welcome. Sessions are from 1:00-2:00pm and 2:00-3:00pm.
International Archaeology Day in Anchorage, Alaska was hosted by archaeologists from the state and federal level at University of Anchorage.
For International Archaeology Day, the Oriental Institute hosted a film screening "Breaking Ground: the Story of the Oriental Institute."
