McClung Museum Planning National Archaeology Day Event

The Frank H. McClung Museum is working with the AIA-East Tennessee Society to plan a National Archaeology Day event for families, university students, and faculty. Activities will include tables with graduate students and professors identifying artifacts, fossils, rocks, and faunal remains as well as researchers from the University of Tennessee's Archaeological Research Lab and graduate students from the University of Tennessee's Anthropology Department presenting their current work.
Project Archaeology at the Beaverhead Museum hosted a teacher/student Archaeology Day for the region.
International Archaeology Day at the ROM gave museum visitors the chance to explore archaeology around the world
