In honor of National Archaeology Day (http://www.archaeological.org/NAD/about) Facebook followers of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources can “talk” online with Senior Archaeologist and Archaeology Outreach Coordinator Amy Johnson on Friday, October 19th, from 1pm to 2pm, on the DNR’s Facebook wall. Participants can ask questions about topics such as archaeology in Indiana, collecting artifacts, the laws which protect archaeological sites, important sites you can visit, and more.
Future topics, instructions on how to join a conversation on Facebook, and commenting guidelines are posted at dnr.IN.gov/7315.htm.
