Vartan Gregorian Lecture
This lectureship was established in 1998 by Artemis A.W. Joukowsky to honor his friend, Vartan Gregorian. Mr. Gregorian is President of the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Dr. Joukowsky is Chancellor of Brown University and a long-time supporter of the AIA.
The Vartan Gregorian Lecturer, who visits one local society annually, is chosen by the Lecture Program Committee of the AIA.
In advance of the Institute's 2015 Working Conference for Educators: Building a Strong Future for Archaeological Outreach and Education the AIA is soliciting a series of one-page descriptions of existing archaeological outreach and education programs.
